Adoption Fair in Dublin Saturday, July 31st!
Come join us at the Concord Feed and Pet Supply from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM for an adoption fair! We will have a variety of adoptable animals from our rescue, including Rabbits, Chinchillas, Guinea Pigs, Rats and Hamsters. This will be one of our larger summer adoption events, and we have lots of fantastic small pets who are waiting for a home of their own!

A Very Special Thanks to the Best Vet We've Ever Had
We are sad to share the news that Dr. Chuck Galvin of the Veterinary Hospital of Ignacio and Imaginarium will be retiring and will not be returning to the practice of animal medicine. Dr. Galvin has decided to continue to focus on boarding for animals of many species and the production of his art (art by Stonefox) which has been featured at Marin Galleries and can be seen through every detail of the magical place that he operated his Veterinary Practice.
During the years that we worked with Dr. Galvin, he treated hundreds of animals from our rescue, doing everything from basic check-ups to life saving emergency saving emergency surgeries on animals that other vets had no hope for. His level of commitment has been unsurpassed in anyone we have worked with before or since, and we know he will be greatly missed by the hundreds of clients who entrusted their beloved pets to his talented care.
From the whole North Star Team and the hundreds of animals you helped us save, thank you for everything, Dr. Galvin. From you, we learned to always keep our faces to the sunshine, and to enjoy tomorrow's past.
