Upcoming Events North Star Rescue participates in a variety of adoption and educational events in the Bay Area. Check back to see what events we might be holding in your area. We have a regular adoption fair on the First Saturday of Every Month in Sonoma, and a regular adoption fair the Fourth Saturday of Every Month in Danville. July 2010 July 31st
Rabbit and Small Animal Adoption Event in Dublin
When: July 31st, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Where: Concord Feed and Pet Supply, 7100 Dublin Blvd., Dublin, CA
Come join North Star Rescue, Contra Costa Rabbit Rescue and Contra Costa Animal Services for an adoption event featuring lots of adoptable bunnies, chinchillas, rats, hamsters and mice. Bring your rabbit or guinea pig in a secure carrier for FREE nail trims!

Small Animal Adoption Day in Sonoma
When: August 7th, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Where: Sonoma Pet Center, 201 West Napa Street, Sonoma, CA 95476
At our First Saturday of the Month Adoption Fair in Sonoma, we regularly feature a variety of adoptable Chinchillas, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Hamsters and Mice. Free care information and knowledgable volunteers are available through the event to answer all of your questions about small animals and their care. Bring your Rabbit or Guinea Pig in a secure carrier for FREE nail trims! August 14th
Grand Opening Celebration, BBQ and Adoption Fair!
When: August 14th, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Where: Bennet Valley Pet Center, 2700 Yulupa Avenue #19, Santa Rosa, CA
Come celebrate the grand re-opening of the Bennet Valley Pet Center with North Star Rescue as well as local dog and cat rescues. This event will feature a barbeque, a raffle for various items, as well as a multi-agency adoption fair featuring all kinds of pocket pets as well as cats and dogs!

Mobile Adoption Event at Pet Food Express in Danville

Our mobile adoption event in Danville will feature a variety of adoptable Bunnies, Chinchillas, Rats, Hamsters and Mice. If you have been thinking about adopting a small pet, come down to talk to our knowledgable volunteers to learn more about which species might fit best into your home and life. Free care information for a variety of species is available. Children and well behaved parents are welcome!
