Donations to North Star Rescue are tax deductible as permitted by law. Monetary donations go to pay for Medical Bills, Spay/Neuter, Transport, Food, Bedding, Toys and the cost of hosting adoption events. 100% of donations go directly to the rescue's costs.

Do you have small animal supplies that you no longer need? There are many supplies we can use for our rescue animals. For more information, please check out our wishlist below.

Volunteer for North Star Rescue
Would you like to volunteer for North Star Rescue? We have many volunteer opportunities that fit a wide variety of schools. You can help set up or host an adoption fair, transport an animal, pick up donated supplies, or help us with promoting our adoptable animals online.

We are also in need of volunteers who can help sew hammocks for the rescue animals, or help with printing services or creating promotional materials.

Foster an Animal
Can you foster a small animal in your home? We are always in need of responsible foster homes who are willing to socialize a shy animal or help care for an animal while they are on medical hold and waiting to be ready for adoption.
